하빌 핸드릭스 박사는 그의 부인 헬렌 헌트 박사와 함께 이마고 부부관계 치료의 공동 개발자이다. 그는 시카고 대학교에서 심리학 석사학위와 박사학위를 받았다. 핸드릭스 박사는 상담 치료사와 교육로써 30년 이상의 경력자이다. 그는 지난 20여년 동안 그가 직접 개발한 이마고 부부관계 치료로 알려진 결혼과 부부관계 치료를 가르치고 실천해 왔다.

Harville Hendrix is the co-founder of the Imago Relationship Therapy method, along with his wife Helen LaKelly Hunt, Ph.D. He graduated from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and was a faculty member at the Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, before he earned his degree in theology from the Theological Seminary in New York. He went on to receive both a Ph.D. and an M.A. in psychology and religion from the Divinity School at the University of Chicago. Hendrix is a therapist, educator, and pastoral counselor and has more than three decades of teaching and educational experience. He has spent the last two decades practicing and teaching his own form of marriage and relationship therapy known as Imago Relationship Therapy.
Hendrix is internationally renowned for his work. He has received honorary doctorates as well as service awards. He has published books with his wife and on his own describing the techniques of his method. He has helped millions of people throughout the world improve their lives and relationships through his techniques.

Wendy Palmer Patterson., is a licensed clinical social worker and marriage and family therapist who has been in private practice since 1980. She has led numerous workshops and groups on relationships, communications, power, money, sexuality, roles and responsibilities. She is well known for her extraordinarily warm and empathetic style as a teacher and therapist. Wendy has trained with Dr. Harville Hendrix and is a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, Workshop Presenter, and Clinical Instructor.

Mike Borash is a Virginia State Licensed and National Certified Professional Counselor with over 30 years of clinical experience providing individual, group, family and relationship therapy. He holds baccalaureate and graduate degrees in Psychology and Counseling from James Madison University and has studied extensively with Harville Hendrix at the Institute for Relationship Therapy. Mike has been personally trained and certified by Dr. Hendrix to present the "Getting the Love You Want" workshop for couples as well as the "Keeping the Love You Find" workshop for individuals. He is a Clinical Instructor on the faculty of Imago Relationships International and provides certification training in Imago Relationship Therapy to mental health professionals worldwide.

오제은 교수는 현재 미국 연방정부 승인 비영리법인 미국 국제부부가족관계연구소(IIICFR: International Institute for Couples and Family Relationships) 책임디렉터 및 미국 뉴저지에 있는 케인대학교(Kean University)의 객원교수로서 <결혼과 가족치료(Marriage & Family Therapy)> 전공 대학원생들을 가르치고 있으며, 국제공인 <이마고부부치료 전문가 (Certified Imago Relationship Therapist)> 자격 취득 후, 아시아인 최초 <이마고부부치료 임상지도교수 (Imago Faculty Clinical Instructor)> 자격으로, <국제공인 이마고부부치료 전문가 자격 취득과정 (Imago Clinical Training>을 지도하고 있다. 캐나다 퀸즈대학교를 졸업하였고, 미국 하버드대학교에서 석사학위를, 토론토대학교와 뉴잉글랜드대학교에서 각각 박사학위를 취득했다(상담학 박사). 보스턴 로저스 메모리얼병원에서 인턴십(PTSD)과, 케임브리지 가족치료연구소와 필라델피아 Council for Relationships에서 AAMFT(미국 결혼과 가족치료협회) 승인 <결혼과 가족치료>전문가 수련과정을 마쳤다. 또한 버지니아 우드브리지와 캘리포니아의 파세데나, 뉴저지 페닝턴 부부치료전문가 수련센터 등에서 부부치료전문가 수련과정을 마쳤다. 숭실대학교와 백석대학교에서 상담학교수로 재직하였고, 학생상담센터장과 부부가족상담연구소장, 『가족과 상담』 편집장, 한국상담전공대학원협의회 회장 등을 역임했으며, 현재 한국가족상담센터 대표로서 (사)한국가족상담협회 이사장과 한국부부상담학회 회장으로 활동 중이다. 방송경력으로는 KBS 1TV <아침마당>, <여성공감>, <오제은박사의 목요클리닉>, MBC TV , <생방송 오늘아침>, EBS TV <성공시대> 등에 출연했다. 주요 저서와 역서로는 <오제은교수의 자기사랑노트>, <상처받은 내면아이 치유>, <가족: 진정한 나를 찾아 떠나는 심리여행>, <칼 로저스의 사람-중심 상담>, <미누친의 구조적 가족치료: 가족치유>, <이마고부부치료의 이론과 실제>, <부부관계 패러다임> 등이 있으며, <대한민국 학술원 우수학술도서>, <문화체육관광부 우수교양도서>, 교보문고 <베트스셀러>와 <스테디셀러>로 선정된 바 있다.
숭실대학교 교수로 재직하는 중 <강의우수 교수상>과 을 연속 수상하였으며, 전국상담대학원협의회로 부터 <최우수 논문상>과 <최우수논문 지도 교수상>을 받았다. 또한 미국 결혼과 가족치료학회(AAMFT) 학술지 Journal of Marital and Family Therapy 편집위원회로 부터 2015년 로 노미네이트 되었으며, 국제이마고부부치료학회(IRI)로 부터 <국제발전공로상(International Development Award)>과 <헬렌 헌트 박사 공동설립자상(Dr.Hunt's Award for Community Building)>을 수상하였다.
Dr. Oh has completed the internship specialized in PTSD at the Rogers Memorial Hospital in Bedford, MA. He also completed a Post-graduate program in Family Systems Therapy from the Family Institute of Cambridge in Boston as well as the AAMFT Accredited Post-Graduate MFT Program at Council for Relationships in Philadelphia. Dr. Oh is currently an Imago Clinical Faculty, Certified Imago Therapist, Imago Couples Workshop Presenter, Imago Singles Workshop Presenter, and Advanced Clinician. He was a former Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology at Soongsil University and Baekseok University in South Korea. He was the Director of Student Counseling Center, Director of Institute for Couples and Family Counseling, and a Chief Editor of Journal of Family and Counseling. He is a founder of the Korean Association of Family Counseling (KAFC), which has a national network of 44 counseling centers with 5,000 members of professional counselors and therapists. He also serves as a Founding Director of both the Korea Family Counseling Center (KFCC) and the Korea Institute of Couple Relationship Therapy (KICRT). Dr. Oh is a frequent guest on television such as KBS and EBS where he has made an effort to make counseling known to the public by offering live counseling and special lectures. His book, I Love Myself the Way I Am (2009) became a national best seller in South Korea. His publication was also selected as the outstanding scholar work by both the National Academy of Sciences as well as Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in South Korea. He also received the Best Teacher’s Award, the Best Lecturer’s Award four times at Soongsil University and the Best Research Award and the Best Supervisor Award by the National Council of Graduate School of Counseling and Psychotherapy. Dr. Oh’s article was nominated as the best article by JMFT and he received the International Development Award by Imago Relationships International. He has also written and translated a number of books such as Imago Relationship Therapy (Brown, 2008), Healing in the Relational Paradigm (Luquet & Hannah, 2014), Homecoming (Bradshaw, 1992), Bradshaw On: The Family (Bradshaw, 1990), A Way of Being (Rogers, 1980), Active Parenting (Popkin, 2003), and Family Healing (Minuchin, 1998). Dr. Oh is currently working as a Visiting Scholar of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program in the School of Psychology at Kean University, New Jersey.
